About the author
Nancy Sheils
Wow, Christ in you” is a comment often made after Nancy shares Jesus’s story in her life. She has over 25 years of sharing God’s Word as a preacher/pastor and enjoys watching The Holy Spirit speak into other’s live through her life experiences and change them from the inside out.
Now in a time of retirement, The Lord has asked her to step out in faith and author a book – S.O.L.D. to Race – and begin a speaking, teaching ministry to His children. Sold On Living Dead and Loving it has become her life in Christ. At the age of 31 she cried out to a God she did not know and asked why all this pain in her life, to which He responded, “Nancy when you willing to commit you will have your answers”. Commitment meant dying to self so she could live fully. Now 30 years later she still loves living S.O.L.D. and invites others to do the same, “because haven’t you heard, you were bought at a price …. You are not your own”?
She is a lady who has experienced the darker side of life; sexual, emotional, physical abuse and the self-abasement that comes with these, that most women and men can relate too. At 33, she met Jesus and was radically saved and still is. She has been healed from her past, forgiven of her many sins and fully alive in Christ leading a Spirit filled S.O.L.D. life, enjoying abundant living in her Lord and Savior even through life’s trials and tribulations. She is an overcomer in Jesus.
She is no longer a sinner saved by Grace but a conquering saint who lives in The Refining Fire of The Lord, looking more like her Father every day. Nancy is blessed with her husband Gary of 40 years who is her biggest supporter and the CEO of their blended family of 6, with 10 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. They have worked side by side in Christ led by The Spirit to fulfill the great commission – Kingdom Building.

MY FAITH STATEMENT
Jesus Christ
I believe Jesus is God, The Living Word, who became flesh. I believe He voluntarily atoned for my sin by dying on the cross.
Salvation
I believe that salvation is a work of God’s free grace and is not the result of human works, “being good” or taking part in religious ceremonies.
The Bible

Heaven
I believe He rose from the dead, ascended into Heaven and is seated at the right hand of God the Father.
The Church
I believe the Church is the body of Christ, called to love, serve, and reflect God’s presence.
